Why Treat Lips?

Throughout the natural aging process, our lips often lose a significant amount of volume. This can cause the lips to turn inward and appear even narrower. Small wrinkles can appear in the lip area, known as "barcode lines." Thin lips can make a face look older quickly. By naturally correcting these effects, a fresher, more radiant, overall younger appearance can be achieved.

In a detailed consultation, I take the time to understand your desires, analyze your face, and create a customized treatment plan. Following this, documentation is done using our three-dimensional Vectra H2 system. This makes it much easier to discuss the available options and fulfill your wishes as effectively as possible.

To achieve a natural-looking result, I exclusively use high-quality hyaluronic acid fillers for lip treatments. Lip treatments require special attention to ensure the result feels comfortable and avoids lump formation. Therefore, specific products developed for this purpose are used to guarantee optimal results.

The treatment itself lasts between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on the extent. The mouth, especially the lips, is one of the most sensitive areas on the entire body. Hence, we always administer a local anesthetic before the treatment. The use of filler materials combined with a local anesthetic ensures the treatment is largely painless. You can leave the practice immediately and are immediately ready for regular activities. Swelling after treatment is not entirely avoidable due to the extremely thin skin of the lips. Swelling may appear up to 24 hours after treatment and usually subsides within 2-3 days. In rare cases, it can last a few days longer. Please take this effect into consideration.

Unlike a Botox injection, the results of a filler treatment are immediately visible. However, the effect may change slightly over the following 10 to 14 days as the filler material settles optimally into the tissue, and normal swelling subsides.

Depending on the technique and the material used, the treatment result lasts for approximately 6 to 18 months. Corrections or additions can be made at any time.
